Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Top Speed Bike Launched To Compete With Yamaha, Know Details

Bajaj Auto has started bringing the new 2025 Pulsar NS200 to its dealerships in India. The bike was unveiled just a week earlier. It is a fresh update to the Pulsar NS200 series. The company launched it to compete with rivals such as Yamaha.

The 2025 NS200 has a new look and better tech. The dash is fully digital now. It is backlit in negative-LCD style. It also offers Bluetooth. Riders can use their phone to get messages and directions. The headlamp is redesigned. It looks more robotic. The screen has layers and dual-tone styling.

Mechanically, the bike is almost the same as before. It keeps the 199.5 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This motor gives around 24 bhp and 18.7 Nm of torque. It uses a six-speed manual gearbox and rides on a steel perimeter frame.

The engine delivers a power of 24.13 bhp at 9,750 rpm. The torque is 18.74 Nm at 8,000 rpm. The top speed is roughly 125 km/h, based on owner-reported figures. Bajaj has not officially shared a top-speed figure.

In addition, some sources in Bangladesh report a claimed top speed of 150 km/h, though this might be more aspirational than official.

The 2025 NS200 also gets USD front forks (upside-down telescopic suspension). This improves handling. Buyers can also rely on dual-channel ABS for braking safety.

The digital console includes features like turn-by-turn navigation, a gear-position indicator, distance-to-empty readout, and fuel-economy info. The LED lighting gives better night visibility. Prices have not yet been announced, but they are expected to be slightly higher than the outgoing model. Earlier versions started from around ₹1.41 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).

The new model adds digital features and better suspension. It keeps performance strong but adds tech that appeals to younger riders. The bike now blends style, speed, and practicality.

With streetfighter looks, LED lights, smart dash, and ABS brakes, the NS200 is ready to give packages like the Yamaha R15 and others stiff competition.
